In this 30-minute presentation, Shannon Vallor, Baillie Gifford Chair in the Ethics of Data and Artificial Intelligence at the Edinburgh Futures Institure (EFI), will talk about their 4th year/PG Ethics of Artificial Intelligence course in Philosophy, the new Ethics and Politics of Data course from EFI for UG pre-honours, and the MSc in Data Ethics that is currently in development, including a PG core offering in EFI called Ethical Data Futures.
Goals, approaches, and intended audiences for each of the courses will be discussed, as well as the common/overlapping themes and aims.
The session will then open up for Q&A.
