Event Overview

With the increase of predatory journals and fake articles, finding trusted peer reviewed articles can be a challenge. Using Clarivate’s Web of Science, this session will show you not only how to discover these publications but also how to quickly get an understanding of a research area, including who are the key contributors and which are the most influential.

During this session attendees will be shown a live demonstration using the Web of Science platform. The demo will focus on how users can easily discover influential research and get a bigger understanding of a research area utilizing the platforms different functions.

Topics covered will include (but not limited to):

  • Discovery (basic & advanced search)
  • Analysis & filtering
  • Staying up to date on research.

Participants will not be expected to complete any tasks during the session, but will be welcome to ask questions and interact throughout if they wish to do so.

The session will be presented by Lisa Muren, Solution Consultant at Clarivate.

This session will be run via Microsoft Teams, a joining link will be emailed to those booked prior to the session start time.
